Feldmann & Steinke GesmbH has its headquarters in Bremen, Germany. Eduard Feldmann, the enterprise’s managing director, was born in the Soviet Union.

More than ten years ago he started exporting timber to Europe, mainly to Germany and Austria, which eventually led to the setting up of a sawmill in Bratsk (Siberia), five years ago.

Within this comparatively short period of time our enterprise has acquired a reputation of being an efficient and reliable contractor for prime-quality Siberian larch.

Many years of experience in the timber exporting and importing business as well as far-reaching business ties with sawmills, with regional departments of forest management, with Russian authorities and other organisations guarantee first-class service for the European market.

Sufficient supplies of prime-quality timber and of Siberian larch in particular, are made possible through our sawmill in Bratsk and our adjacent timber processing plant boasting an annual volume of 170.000 cubic meters of round timber.
